THE WHOLE ENTIRE PARAGRAPH OF "PAY YOURSELF FIRST"!!! Loved this! Loved that she was published at 50. Loved that she wrote a novel at 30. It happens when it happens. 💗

This was great! I loved Nora Goes Off Script and was very jealous of that writing space Nora had so it was fun to hear the inspiration for it :)

Love this interview — Thank you, Annabel and Amelia! I know EXACTLY the motel I’m going to go to for two nights to go into a fugue state when the time comes for revisions!

can’t wait to read the book that results from said fugue state!

Obsessed with everything about this interview, including Annabel’s author story and writing advice and also the Ramit podcast rec (it’s SO GOOD!). 💫

I haven't listened to Money for Couples yet - slightly afraid that there might be too much conflict for me to handle!

It can…depends on the couple and your pain tolerance 😂 But it’s sooo interesting! And Ramit is a great facilitator/referee.

This article was amazing! I’ve read Nora Goes Off Script - now I want to read her other books! I love how you share insights into people’s real lives and their little life hacks for getting things done (especially writing!). I’ve been trying to wake up early to write and this week I’ve been thwarted by my kids waking up too (agh! I don’t want to see anyone else at 5 am!) but this interview has me committed to keep trying - thanks!

Definitely read Annabel’s other books - I think Nora will always be my fave, but I’ve loved them all - especially Ali in Summer Romance. I set my alarm to get up earlier than my kids every morning too and am always cursing the floorboards that creak because I’m trying so hard to be quiet and not wake anyone up!
