The income article is not at all accurate in my POV. Maybe for the whole state might be but sadly, not if you live in a big city. - also, have a nice break! I’m taking one too. Hope you have a wonderful July.

Thanks - and I hear you about the income article. These things are so interesting to me - how accurate is the data? Who responds? Who makes decisions based on these pieces?!

Teenie Weenie Beanie and Joleenie! 🤣 I was not expecting that, Paul Rudd is the greatest. For me, my full fat fun mantra is: the dumber, the better. I have 4 brothers and at a moments notice, I’ll be in conversation with any one of them and then suddenly one of us starts running lines from “The Godfather” (I’m usually Connie Corleone or Kay or Hyman Roth— the brother’s roles rotate as well) and it’s so ridiculous we laugh like idiots “Never takes sides against the family”…”

Oh yes, Joleenie!! It's a classic! The dumber the better is key: real fun requires not taking yourself seriously! 😉 Siblings are so good at this.

They are excellent for all the shenanigans! (The dumber, the better 😂)

Amelia, my birthday's at the end of August, too and I'll be 45! Mine's on August 29th...when's yours? Also, the second I clicked on that Paul Rudd vid, I KNEW it would be the tiny beenie video...lol it's SO GOOD. So happy to hear you like The Husbands...definitely want to read it. Have a FAB break! 🌞

Thanks Amy - I'm August 30! Virgo's unite! 😉 I resisted reading The Husbands as it has been recommended so much I thought it might be overrated but it's really good. And Paul Rudd is the king of fun! 🤣

I absolutely love this question, and echo your three ingredients required for fun!

I think my full-fat fun list includes outdoor activities that I'm not doing specifically as "exercise," in particular, leisurely bike rides on nearby trails. I'm thinking of one that passes through a little town and by a farmstand along the way, which means an opportunity to stop for an ice-cream cone or a peach as a snack. Brings me right back to childhood!

Oh yes! Anything reminiscent of childhood - this is how I feel about splashing around in water - completely reminds me of childhood - as does chasing a ball! 😉

I used to play Rollerblade hockey in the alley behind my house with all the neighborhood kids...I seriously wish I could bring that one back!!

I used to love playing handball (an Aussie version) every morning before school and it was the highlight of my grade school years! I'm kind of wondering why we aren't still doing this stuff!

Ah, love handball! And kickball and softball…

Just thought of one other full-fat fun list item: reading outside on a blanket under a tree. This newsletter is bringing up so many fun summer ideas!! 🤩
