Love this! I’m right there with you on the in+person shopping. My husband and I pick a day in November and get a babysitter and make a date out of it— we get a fun meal and bevys and then knock out nearly all of our shopping at once. Not only do we make it fun, it feels more thoughtful and we buy less and shop locally, wins all around. And by the start of December gift shopping is entirely crossed off my list.
I love this! I also decided not to do any Christmas Eve wrapping this year and, save a batch of cookies for two family members, I’m all done! It’s made such a difference to how I’m feeling about it all. You’re making me think that I should put some more things on my ‘not to do’ list...
good for you! there's a LOT of pressure at this time of year to do more - and not just holiday-related stuff - it's all the end-of-year work milestone stuff too. it takes real focus (and courage) to say no.

I love the "don't" list. I challenged myself in mid-November to not take anything else on for the rest of the year. It's been hard but good.
