“Until further notice celebrate everything” is a saying I’ve always loved. Why shouldn’t we? Blink and we’ll all be 98 years old😂 If I had to choose one thing to be recognized for let it be the COUNTLESS hours sitting on the floor in the dark next to my youngest child’s bed bc she has always been IMPOSSIBLE to get to sleep. (Although holding her little hand until she drifts off is adorable. But still super frustrating. I want to be clear about the frustrating part 🤣)

Love this!! We all show up, rain or shine, to hold our little corners of the world's together day in and day out with little mention--I am inspired by your idea and I am going to put it into action by doing something I have been meaning to do forever, but rarely end up doing...I am going to start TELLING people in my daily life and encounters how grateful I am for what they do...I always think it but never put it into action--family, teachers, friends, neighbors, checkers at the grocery store who I've known for years. I will either tell them face to face, or start writing little notes, or emails or texts!

So true, Carly and what a lovely idea! I often have these thoughts too, and for some reason, shy away from saying things! People love hearing thank you! xo Amelia

Thank you for this, Amelia! I’m nominating myself for:

Being a mom to 2 under 2!

But moreso for my efforts to break the generational patterns of my family. I work very, very hard to be a good mother and I’m currently in therapy to continue that work not only for my daughters, but for my own healing.

I’m proud of that. ❤️

Being a mom of two little ones is trophy-worthy! And I completely understand how hard it is to break generational patterns--bravo to you, Cassie. Not everyone wants to face these things and deal with all the difficult feelings. ❤️

I love this and I love hearing the trophies people would get! I should get myself a trophy for being relentlessly kind to my (now) husband’s daughters while they got used to me being in their lives. Six years later, we’re finally getting to a more solid relationship.

good for you, Keltie! how old were the girls when you first met them? blending families is incredibly difficult and requires a ton of patience. ❤️

Amelia you are so brilliant and what a great message!!!! I need a trophy too for being a devoted friend to everyone I meet. I will pay extra for kindness any day of the week. It's so simple and free and we all need it as we get so much more in return. Love your photos too especially the one of you in your competition. You won in my book!!!!!

Love this!!! I would give my husband an award for making sure the boring part of adulting is covered in our household (one decade and counting!!): electricity and water bill, mortgage, doing our taxes, car registration, etc (not thinking about those things frees so much brain power to think about other stuff) - It's the underrated stuff that goes a long way, am I right?

The boring parts are the worst - and most time consuming! 😉

Yes, I gladly clean the bathrooms no matter how gross my kids leave them in exchange for not doing car-related stuff or taking out the garbage. Plus if I hear a scary noise at night my husband is the go-to😂

This is so fun! I’d give my husband a trophy for completing another full house renovation (our 7th in our 22 years of marriage) in addition to a full-time career. Heck, I’d give myself a trophy for the same thing. We’re still happily married somehow! Hahahah crazier, but still happy.
